SERVICES HELD NOV. 28TH FOR FORMER FONTANELLE MAN

Graveside services were conducted by the Rev. Otto Spehr at Salem Lutheran Church cemetery for Somers Eugene Timpe who died on October 25, 1970 in Rochester, Minn. Cremation followed and interment was held Saturday, Nov. 28th. Somers Eugene Timpe was born Nov. 17, 1892 at Fontanelle. He taught school in western Nebraska and was a veteran of World War I, serving with the Army in France. In later years he was a landscape gardener in Highland Park, Zion, Illinois. He was united in marriage with Ingefred Nelson on June 1st, 1921 and was a member of the Methodist Church. The last four years he was in ill health. His parents and one sister, Wealthy, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of Rochester and four brothers, Oliver of St. Petersburg, Fla., Carl of Ft. Morgan, Colo., Conrad of Madison, Nebr., and Arthur of Denmark, Iowa.
