Adel G. Siemer, 93

Services for Adel G. Siemer, 93, of Pender who died June 25, 1992 at the Pender Hospital were Monday, June 29 at 2 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in rural Pender. Rev. Niel Vik officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Adel Schroeder was born September 7, 1898 on a farm near Pender to Heinrich and Aline Ellinghusen Schroeder. She married Gustave Siemer April 22, 1920.

They farmed in the Pender area and at various locations until 1971 when they moved into Pender.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gus; four brothers; three sisters; one son and one grandson.

She is survived by a son, Herbert of Fort Calhoun; four daughters, Norma Hall of North Platte, Nebraska, Ember Arnold of Fort Calhoun, Marlene Twyford of South Sioux City, Nebraska and Valdine Drumm of Omaha; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and one brother, William Schroeder of Pender.

Pallbearers were Richard Siemer, Gary Sadil, Wayne Drumm, Mark Twyford, Steven Siemer, Dwight Hall and Jeffrey Twyford.

Organist was Mrs. Pauline Westerhold. Vocal music was by Mrs. Corine Vik, Mrs. Edine Vogt and the congregation.
