Jesse Smith, 82

Jesse Smith, a resident of Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair, died February 24, 1988.

Funeral services were held February 26, 1988, at Campbell Funeral Home with Dr. Howard Bailey officiating.

Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Jesse was born May 2, 1905, in Farnam, Nebraska to Thomas B. and Lottie M. (Mosley) Smith.

He retired from the Denver-Chicago Trucking Company after 25 years of service.

On August 19, 1926, he married Cleo N. Mackey in McCook. She survives.

Other survivors include sons Ted L. Smith and Bill M. Smith, both of Blair, 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and sisters Mrs. Hollis (Grace) McLeland of Hayes Center and Mrs. Ilene Powell of McCook.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.

Campbell Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
