FRANK TIMPERLEY RITES FEB. 25th

Frank Earl Timperley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. Timperley, was born March 22, 1905 in Douglas County east of Bennington. He attended the schools of Douglas County. He farmed most of his life just east of Bennington.

Frank was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. On June 11, 1927, he was united in marriage to Hazel Schaefer, in Omaha. Four sons and one daughter were born to this union.

On Sunday, February 22, Frank entered the Methodist Hospital. He passed away Monday, February 23, 1976, at the age of 70 years.

He is survived by his wife Hazel; three sons and their wives - - Merle and Frances of Omaha; Rolin D. and Doris of Anchorage, Alaska; Frank Roger and Rita of Bennington; one daughter and her husband, Lois and Lundell Schwaninger of Omaha; daughter-in-law, Patsy Timperley of Alaska; 12 grandchildren; other relatives and friends. A son, Robert Earl of Alaska preceded him in death.

Memorial services were held at St. John’s Lutheran Church on Wednesday, February 25 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Norman Schroeder officiating. Mrs. Henry Kniep was organist and Mrs. Gerry Johnson was vocalist.

Casket bearers were Jerry Miles, Alex Mueller, Walter Hansen, E.O. “Bill” Taylor, Russell Dall and John Schmidt. The interment was in the Hillcrest Cemetery and the Hadan-Golden Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
