JAMES TIMPERLEY FUNERAL WAS HELD IN MAY

Funeral services were held at Rejoice Lutheran Church at 1:30 p.m. Monday for C. James (Jim) Timperley, 52. He passed away Friday, April 29 at Methodist Hospital, Omaha.

Rev. John Schmidt officiated, assisted by Mr. Paul Campbell, Mr. Timperley’s son-in-law. Interment was in Mount Hope Cemetery, Omaha, with Masonic Graveside services.

Pallbearers were Harold Erikson, Clyde Hosak, Walter Krutelek, Frank Rathbun, Calvin Sorensen and George Jipp.

He was born February 18, 1925 and was a retired carpenter. Married Opal Tietgen April 12, 1947.

Survivors include his wife, Opal; 2 daughters, Carol (Mrs. Philip Scholl), Ogden, Utah; Donna (Mrs. Paul Campbell), St. Paul, Minn.; 3 granddaughters; his mother, Mrs. John Timperley; 3 brothers, 2 sisters. Mrs. Timperley’s sister and brother-in-law are Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Schmidt of Schuyler, Nebraska.
