MRS. EMMA TOEBBEN DIES ON WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Emma Toebben, of Arlington, died at the Memorial Hospital in Fremont on Wednesday, September 27th. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church north of Arlington.

Pastor Robert Backhus will officiate with the Reckmeyer Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for burial in the St. Paul’s Cemetery.

Mrs. Toebben was born February 25, 1893 at Arlington and was 85 at the time of her death. She lived in the Fontanelle area until 1963 when she moved to Arlington. She was married to Henry C. Toebben who preceded her in death on October 27, 1945. The couple had two children who survive. They are Kenneth of Nickerson and Delmer of Ralston, Nebraska.

Mrs. Toebben was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Women’s Lutheran League.

Surviving brothers and sisters are as follows: Mrs. Clara Vogt, Arlington; Miss Edna Giesselman, Omaha; Mrs. Alice (Harold) Riley, Fremont; Mrs. Ray (Ella) Miller, Cheyenne; Mrs. Walter (Leona) Nieman of Blair and Harry Giesselman of Arlington. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
