ANNA M. TOELKE, 82

Anna M. Toelke, 82, of Fort Calhoun, formerly of Fremont, died on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1998, at the Maple Crest Care Center in Omaha.

Services were Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont with the Rev. Gary Sutton officiating. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery.

Anna M. Hansen was born Sept. 13, 1916, on the family farm near Orum in Washington County to Ole Edward and Marie (Moller) Hansen. She grew up in that area of Washington County.

On March 16, 1938, she married Clarence A. Toelke at her parents’ home near Orum. They lived on a farm in the Herman area until moving into Fremont in 1968. Mr. Toelke died on March 24, 1991.

In September of 1991, she moved to Blair. In 1994, she moved to Fort Calhoun to make her home with her daughter.

She was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church of Arlington.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Sylvia Toelke of Blair; a daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Arnold Otte of Fort Calhoun; one granddaughter, Barbara Ingram; four grandsons, Mark and Scott Toelke and John and David Otte; two sisters, Emma Hansen of Blair and Esther Welliver of Omaha.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; two brothers; two sisters and her parents.

Memorials are suggested to the Cornerstone Baptist Church of Arlington.
