CLARENCE TOELKE, 87
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 26 at Liberty Baptist Church for Clarence Toelke, 87 of Fremont and formerly of Herman who died at Merrick Manor in Fremont March 24, 1991. Rev. Gary Sutton officiated. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
Clarence Toelke was born December 13, 1903 to Carl and Hannah Leueninghoener on the family farm near Herman. He farmed near Herman until moving to Fremont in 1968.
He married Anna Hansen March 16, 1938 at her parents’ home near Orum.
He was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Fremont and was active in the senior citizen center.
He is survived by his wife, Anna; a son Richard Toelke of Blair; a daughter, Marlene (Mrs. Arnold) Otte, Fort Calhoun; and grandchildren, Barbara Otte, Mark Toelke, Scott Toelke, John Otte and David Otte.
Memorials may go to Liberty Baptist Church.
