Services for Harwood Mulliken, 80 of Nickerson who died January 15, 1991 at his daughter’s home in Fremont were Saturday, January 19 at Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont. Rev. Stephen J. Brownlee officiated. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

Harwood Mulliken was born January 9, 1911 on the family farm near Nickerson. He farmed near Nickerson until moving into Nickerson in the early 1960s. He then operated a welding and repair shop there.

He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Fremont and the Nickerson Volunteer Fire Department.

He married Laura Vance in 1975. She preceded him in death in November, 1984.

Three sisters also preceded him in death.

He is survived by a daughter, Corrine (Mrs. Duane) Scheer of Fremont; two sons, William of Lakewood, Colorado and James of Farmington, New Mexico; three sisters, Mercedes Christensen of Fremont, Genevieve (Mrs. Harry) Whewell of Lincoln, Rhode Island and Adele (Mrs. Russell) Larson of Nickerson; a brother, Alan Mulliken of Nickerson; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
