FORMER COUNTY WOMAN DIES

Word reached Blair Wednesday night of the death of Mrs. Anna Mumaugh, eldest daughter of “Grandma” Cruickshank. She passed away at the home of her sister, Mrs. John Burnette of Little Medicine, Wyoming, where she had made her home since last spring.

Mrs. Mumaugh was born in Scotland, coming to American in her early childhood. When seventeen years of age she was married to W. P. Mumaugh and to them was born three sons, two of whom are living.

The husband was called in 1911 and since then the wife has been lonely and the last few years has made her home mostly with her sister, Mrs. Burnette, making occasional trips to this section to visit her mother, Mrs. Cruickshank and her sons, who reside in Omaha, and other relatives.

At the present writing the time of the funeral service is not known but the body will be brought to Omaha for interment.

She leaves besides the aged mother and the two sons, Wm. and Frank of Omaha; five sisters: Mrs. Dollie Moore of Blair; Mrs. Bessie Marshall of Casper, Wyoming; Mrs. Etta Nickerson of Oakland, California; Mrs. Jean Burnette of Little Medicine, Wyoming; Mrs. Belle Summers of Page, Nebr. and four brothers, Andrew of Omaha; James of Calhoun; Alec of California and John of Golden Valley, S.D.

At her death deceased was seventy-two years of age. She had been reared from childhood in this county and has many warm friends here who will miss her greatly.
