FORMER COUNTIAN, AGE 70, SUCCUMBS

Mrs. Quincy H. Mundorf, 70, former Washington county resident, died March 20 at Valentine, Nebraska. Martha L. Gossard was born in Bloomington, Illinois, January 24, 1871, and with her parents came to Herman, Nebraska, at the age of nine years. While a resident of Herman, she was married January 28, 1888, to Quincy H. Mundorf.

For five years Mr. and Mrs. Mundorf lived in Washington county. Then, they spent 20 years in Pierce county, with the exception of five years spent in Canada. They had resided at Valentine since 1915.

To Mr. and Mrs. Mundorf were born 12 children. Surviving Mrs. Mundorf are her husband, seven sons, two daughters, three brothers, 43 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
