ANSEL TOFT DIES AT 87
Services and burial were Wednesday, May 30 for Ansel Toft of Orum. He was the son of Hans and Sophie (Jensen) Toft. He was married May 28, 1924 in Blair to Hazel Nelsen, who survives.
Toft and his wife resided in Omaha before his death. Toft was a farmer in the Orum area. Other survivors include his sister Mrs. Don (LaFerne) Toot of Payson, Arizona.
Pallbearers for the burial were Harold Bates, Bruce Grinnel, Grant Hayek, Jerry Hayek, Wayne Nelsen, and Lloyd Nielsen.
Toft was born December 13, 1896 in Orum. He died Sunday, May 27 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. He was 87.
Services were at First United Methodist Church in Blair. Burial was at Blair Cemetery.
