Blair native David Toft, 56, of Tekamah, died Wednesday, April 13, 2005. Funeral services were Monday, April 18, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Tekamah. Interment was in the Arlington Cemetery.

David Toft was born March 9, 1949, in Blair to Harold and Marie (Campbell) Toft. He graduated from Fremont High School in 1967, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

On Aug. 25, 1984, he married Nadine Jensen in Blair.

Mr. Toft worked for Valmont Industries in Valley for 17 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Nadine; sons, John and Jesse, both of Tekamah; daughters, Randi of Tekamah, Stacey of Oakland; one grandson; sister, Alice Miller of Blair; brother and sister-in-law, John and Flo Toft of Fremont; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
