SERVICES FOR LAURA TOFTE HELD SATURDAY

Services for Mrs. Laura Tofte were held Saturday at the First Methodist Church in Blair.

Mrs. Tofte, of Deerfield, Illinois and formerly of rural Blair passed away at the Dodge County Hospital in Fremont on Wednesday, October 14th.

Laura J. Tofte was born on November 21, 1881 in Blair, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Peter and Mary Jensen. She attended local schools and the Fremont Normal School. She taught in local rural schools for several years.

She was married to Knute S. Tofte who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Tofte is survived by one daughter, Lois Ritner of Deerfield, Illinois; one son Myron Tofte of Fremont and one grandson, Marshall Tofte. There are three surviving sisters. They are Mrs. Walter Sappenfield, Mrs. James Ryan and Mrs. Carl Pieper, all of Blair. There is one brother, Clarence Jensen of Fremont.

The services were performed by Rev. Atherton with the Campbell Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Russell Ryan, Harold Christensen, Raymond Ruwe, Martin Voss, Arthur S. Jensen and Earl A. Jensen.
