PAUL TOPF, 80

Services for Paul Topf, age 80 of Blair, who died at Memorial Community Hospital July 25, 1993 will be held Wednesday, July 28 at 10 a.m. at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Paul A. Topf was born on January 15, 1913 at Colon, South Dakota, to Gustav A. and Clara Sasges Topf. He attended St. Bonafice Catholic School at Charter Oak, Iowa.

On February 16, 1932, he married Lila Mesick. She preceded him in death in November of 1957.

He married Katherine Leonard April 13, 1973 in Blair.

Before his retirement in 1987, he had been in the construction business, and most recently in the trucking business.

He resided in the Charter Oak and Logan, Iowa area until moving to Blair in 1974.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Paul; a brother John and one sister, Josephine Berka.

Surviving him in death are his wife, Katherine; two children, Roger P. Topf, Springfield, Missouri and Valerie Grahm, Missouri Valley, Iowa; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two stepchildren, Wade Haswell, Oakland, Nebraska and Shannon Ruschmann, Canoga Park, California; eight step-grandchildren; 7 great-step-grandchildren.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
