SERVICES FOR HELEN TOTTEN WERE WEDNESDAY

Services for Helen I. Totten, 64, of 2600 Laverna St., Fremont, were at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church. The Rev. David Zellmer officiated.

Mrs. Totten died Sunday night in the Fremont hospital.

She was born November 2, 1914, in Washington County. She was raised in Washington County, and graduated from Blair High School. She worked in Omaha before moving to Fremont in 1939.

Mrs. Totten had lived in the Fremont and Nickerson area since that time.

She married Robert Totten August 19, 1939 in Omaha. He died in 1972.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Bill (Carole) Gesker of Hooper; sisters, Mrs. Dorothy McGill of Blair; Mrs. Inez Conoway of Bronson, Iowa; Mrs. Vivian Kraemer of Oakland; Mrs. Darlene Dodge of Omaha; and Mrs. Lela Pederson of Council Bluffs; and brothers, Elmer Vinderselv of Blair; Leonard Vinderslev of Chokio, Minn.; Chris Vinderslev of Omaha; and three grandchildren.

A memorial has been established for St. Timothy’s Church.

Burial was in Memorial Cemetery.
