BETTY L. TOY, 64

Services for Betty L. Toy, 64 of Fremont were held Saturday, March 16, 1996, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Rev. Lee J. Milligan of Arlington Community Church officiated. Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery. She died March 13 at A. J. Merrick Manor in Fremont.

Betty L. Toy was born June 17, 1931 in Fremont to Henry P. and Clara (Stanley) Woodcock. She grew up at Nickerson and Fontanelle and moved to Arlington in 1948. She was a 1950 graduate of Arlington High School.

She married LeRoy Brown on May 24, 1950 at Blair. He died Feb. 23, 1955. She moved to Fremont in 1957.

She married Howard Toy on July 7, 1959. She worked at Al’s Café in Fremont from 1973 – 1977 and was custodian for the Fremont Public School System from 1977 – 1994.

She was a charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 3943 Auxiliary at Elkhorn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband and a brother, Marvin Woodcock.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Nelson and Roberta Hartman, both of Fremont; brothers Leo Woodcock of Fremont; Donald Woodcock of Schuyler and Richard Woodcock of Arlington; three grandchildren, Tami, Angie and Sean and nieces and nephews.

Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont was in charge of arrangements.
