Syrilda Mundorf, 98 of Blair died Saturday, Aug. 2, 1997 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church in Blair. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Mundorf was born Sept. 24, 1898 at Blair to R. W. and Ada (Evans) Short. She attended the Blair Schools and joined the First Christian Church at the age of 13. On Oct. 6, 1915, she married George Mundorf in Omaha. She worked for several places in Blair, including the hospital, and at the age of 86 retired from the Village Inn Restaurant.

She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary for over 50 years.

Survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law, Ardelle and A. L. Moulder, Craig, Neb.; Lorraine and Charles Taylor, Schuyler, Neb.; a son and daughter-in-law, Willus and Berniece Mundorf, Blair; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Ed Short, Blair; and a sister, Dorothy Plumb of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George, in 1983; three sons; two sisters and three brothers.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
