Funeral Held in California for Kenneth Baker

Funeral services for Kenneth G. Baker, formerly of Dunbar and Omaha, Nebraska, were held 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at the Chapel of the Hills, 615 North Santa Cruz Ave., Los Gatos, California.

Baker, who had been ill the past two years died Sunday, March 1, 1981, from a heart attack.

He had an extensive livestock farm operation in Dunbar, Nebraska, for many years. In 1943, he moved to Omaha and served as the President of the Omaha Federal Land Bank Association. Through his work in real estate loans, he was well known in the rural areas of eastern Nebraska.

After his retirement, he moved to Wedgewood Manor, 14225 Lora Drive, Los Gatos, California.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Dunbar. He as a past master and a 50 year member of the Lee Gillette Blue Lodge in Dunbar, a 32nd degree member of the Omaha Scottish Rite, and of the Tangier Temple Shrine. He was also a member of the American Legion, Omaha Post No. 1.

Survivors include his wife, Meryl; daughter Mrs. Don Gebers, North San Juan, California; sister Mrs. W.H. Gibbon, Lincoln, and 4 grandchildren.
