Betty A. Ball, 59, of Fort Calhoun, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006 in Omaha.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 18 at First United Methodist Church in Blair. Interment will be in the Magnolia, Iowa Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p .m. Friday, Feb. 17 at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Betty Ann Ball was born March 23, 1946 in Magnolia, Iowa. She married James Ball on Dec. 31, 1974 in Omaha. She lived in Fort Calhoun for over 30 years.

Mrs. Ball was a member of First United Methodist Church in Blair, the VFW Women’s Auxiliary in Blair and a bowling league in Blair.

She is survived by her husband, James; a son, Rick Ball of Fairbury; two daughters, Tracy Ostransky of Omaha and Sue Woebbecke of Blair; brothers, James Rhoten of Vassar, Mich., Thomas Rhoten of Copalis Crossing, Wash., Lyle Rhoten of Omaha, Rex Rhoten and Paul Rhoten, both of Magnolia; sisters, Sarah Fitzgerald and Agnes Hart, both of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mary Keeven of Cassville, Mo.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Roy and Glen Rhoten and sisters, Doris Konz, Clara Magneson and Donna Levelle.

Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church in Blair.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday February 18th at Ham at First United Methodist Church In Blair, NE. Memorials to First United Methodist Church. Burial at Magnolia Cemetery.
