Joe Bandur, Once of Herman, Died October 31

Military funeral rites were held Nov. 3 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Grand Island for Joe Bandur, former Herman resident. He died Oct. 31 at the age of 68.

He was born at Duncan, Nebr., and had lived all his life in Nebraska. He served in the Army in World War I until honorably discharged.

He and Miss Margaret Dischner were married on Feb. 18, 1919 at Duncan.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; one daughter, Mrs. Joe Deleski (Marian June); two grandsons, Ricky and Dennis Deleski of Grand Island; three brothers and two sisters.
