Alfred Barge Buried in Herman

Funeral services for Alfred William Barge were held Thursday at the Schafer-Peck Mortuary, the Rev. Burton Smythe officiating. Interment followed in Herman Cemetery with Masonic services at the graveside.

Mr. Barge was born at Mead, Nebraska, April 15, 1882 and died March 17, at the Blair Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health for some time.

Mr. Barge was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star at Herman. He belonged to the Presbyterian Church of Tekamah.

He is survived by his wife, one son, Harold of Grand Island, daughter, Mrs. Ned Tyson (Irma) Herman, 6 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
