Services are Tuesday for Maude Birdie Barge

Services are Tuesday, October 2, 1979 for Maude Birdie Barge, 94, who died September 29 at Crowell Home in Blair. Rev. Gordon Patterson will conduct the 10:30 a.m. services at Campbell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Herman Cemetery.

Maude Birdie Barge was born to Bert and Celia Lee Brando at Hartington, Nebraska, on May 23, 1885. She was a housewife during her life and was married to Alfred William Barge, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ned (Irma) Tyson of Blair and one son, Harold L. Barge of Grand Island Nebraska. Six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren also survive her.

Clare Cowing is organist for the services.

Pallbearers are Neil Bailey, Wm. Hogarth, Gilbert Potadle, A.J. Bruce, Kermit Goll, and Bernard Thompson.

Memorials may be given to Crowell Home or the Blair Rescue Squad.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
