CARROLL TRIGGS, OF CUSTOM FLOORS, DIED WEDNESDAY

BLAIR BUSINESS MAN HAD BEEN HOSPITALIZED SINCE LAST JULY

Funeral services for Carroll Triggs, a member of the firm of Custom Floors, in Blair, were held Saturday afternoon at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fremont. He was 37 years old.

Mr. Triggs, although a resident of Fremont, had been a partner in the floor coverings firm here since its start five years ago. He had been hospitalized since last July and had undergone several long and serious operations.

He was a son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nieman, of Blair. Mr. Nieman is another member of the Custom Floors firm.

Mr. Triggs died Wednesday night at an Omaha hospital after an illness of 15 weeks.

Born Aug. 3, 1932, in Fremont, Mr. Triggs graduated from Fremont High School and attended Midland College.

A veteran of the U. S. Navy, Mr. Triggs was employed by Johnson Furniture company seven years before joining Triggs-Nieman-Thew Custom Floor Covering Company in Blair, five years ago.

He married Donna Nieman June 3, 1956, in Fremont. She survives.

Other survivors include two children, Sheri, 8 and Jeffrey, 6; and his mother, Mrs. Edith Triggs.

Military graveside services were conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 8332 of Arlington and burial was made in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. The Rev. Kenneth Fischer of Fremont conducted the service.
