Mrs. John (Armstrong) Trimmer, who was brought from Ashland and buried near her father-in-law and step-sister in the Ft. Calhoun (Nebraska) cemetery Feb. 10, 1913, was born in Brownville, Neb., March, 1855, and has lived all her life in Nebraska and Iowa. She was married to her present husband March 30, 1904, and leaves one brother, William Jeffres of Ft. Calhoun and Ashland. She was a woman of mild disposition and perhaps the largest woman that ever lived in this city. This writer respected her very highly the many years we have known her. Rev. Lang, M. E. pastor at Blair, preached the sermon. Dr. Curtis and Mrs. Charles Rathjen sang the anthems, with Miss Grace Neale at the organ.
