Frances Mary Murdoch, 87

Services were Sat., Oct. 26 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Blair for Frances Murdoch, 87, a long-time resident of the Bozeman Care Center. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Frances Mary Koopman Murdoch was born Nov. 25, 1908 in Blair. She graduated from Blair High School and received her teaching certificate from Omaha University in Omaha.

She taught school in the area for a number of years and later owned and operated the B & C Shop in Blair.

She was a charter member of PEO chapter EQ.

She married Louis Murdoch June 4, 1932. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Norma Murdoch of Bozeman and Lee and Diana Murdoch of Medford, Ore.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mae Thompson of Blair and a brother, William Koopman of Spruce Pine, N. C.

Memorials may be directed to the PEO Scholarship Fund in care of Katie Mines.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
