Mrs. William Murley died at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. H. Palmer, at 8:45 Monday evening, of creeping paralysis and the funeral was held at the Palmer home at 2 o’clock this afternoon, Rev. C. P. Lang officiating. Interment was made in the Blair cemetery, where her father and mother and infant son are buried. Eliza McCauley Davis was born in the county of Derry, Ireland, Oct. 11, 1847, and came to America with her parents in 1851, settling first in Tennessee, then in Illinois and finally came to Nebraska in 1871. She was married to William Murley in Colfax county Oct. 18th, 1879, coming to this county in 1882. Five years ago they moved to Arlington, which has been their home ever since. Mrs. Murley has suffered from creeping paralysis for several years and was in an Omaha hospital for two weeks prior to her coming to Blair five weeks ago. Her physicians told her nothing more could be done for her and so she waited patiently for the end. Besides her husband and sister she leaves two step-daughters, Mrs. M. C. Grover, of Kennard, and Mrs. Fred Ramser, of Washington and one step-son, Joseph Murley, of Huron, S.D.,; two daughters, Mrs. George Petersen, of Huron, S.D., and Mrs. Joseph Oster, of Valley, Neb., and two sons, William and John Murley, of Huron, S.D. Mrs. Elsner, of Arlington, sang at the funeral and the pallbearers were all Arlington people also.

Death of Mrs. Murley.

At the home of her brother-in-law, Dr. W. H. Palmer, on Monday evening, occurred the death of Mrs. Wm. Murley, a sister of Mrs. Palmer.

Deceased was born in 1847. She had been a resident in and near Arlington for about thirty years. She had been sick for about one year. She was removed here from Arlington about a month ago.

The funeral services occurred on Wednesday at 2 o’clock from the Palmer home, conducted by the Rev. Lang the deceased having been a member of the M.E. church for many years.

Four children, two sons and two daughters, one residing at Valley, Nebraska, and the others in Dakota, are left to mourn the loss of a good mother.

All were present at the funeral.
