George Murphy Buried Friday

George Murphy, 53, onetime resident of the Fort Calhoun vicinity, died May 9 in Los Angeles, California. He left Fort Calhoun in the ‘90’s and went to Stanton county, then to the west coast.

Unmarried, he is survived by four brothers and a sister. The body was returned to Fort Calhoun, where funeral services and burial were held Friday under direction of the Sievers mortuary.
