Hans P. Christensen, age 95, of rural Tekamah, passed away early on Sunday morning, Nov. 13th, 1988 at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, Nebraska after a brief illness.

Hans was born on Dec. 4, 1892 near Herman to Jens and Sorina (Hansen) Christensen. He grew up in the Spiker and Herman area, where he farmed for many years.

Hans was married to Myrtle V. Hovendick in 1930. Mrs. Christensen passed away July 4th, 1968. For the past four years Hans had been a resident of the Good Shepherd Home in Blair.

Survivors include his foster son, Gerald Brand of Tekamah; one sister, Margaret Larsen of Blair; one niece, Gladys Hooks of Tucson, Arizona; two nephews; Chester J. Larsen of Herman and Le Roy Larsen of Blair.

Hans was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Alfred Christensen; and his wife, Myrtle.
