Freda I. Murray, 75 of Missouri Valley, Iowa, died Sunday, Aug. 10, 1997 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha.

Services are 10 a.m. at the Church of Christ in Missouri Valley. Pastor Ron Wymer will officiate. Burial will be in the Little Sioux Cemetery in Little Sioux, Iowa.

Murray was born Feb. 8, 1922 in Missouri Valley to Henry and Millicent (Starks) Cooper. On Jan. 25, 1939 she married Earl Murray in Missouri Valley.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors are her children and their spouses, James and Elaine Murray of Logan, Iowa; Roma and Ronald Beebe of Blair; Ronald and Diane Murray and Kathleen and Gary Michael, all of Missouri Valley; Elva Bonham of Lake Oswego, Ore.; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl in 1988; her parents; three sisters and three brothers.

Hennessey-Hurley-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley is in charge of arrangements.
