Nellie B. Musick, 93

Services for Nellie B. Musick, 93 who died at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Madelyn Musick, July 30, 1995 will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 2 at the Butler-Volland Funeral Home in Hastings, Nebraska. Rev. W. C. Westman will officiate. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.

Nellie B. Musick was born September 9, 1901 to James Henry and Arthelia Russell in Marshall County, Kansas near Marysville. She graduated from Summerfield High School in 1917.

She married Robert Musick in 1920 and they lived in Edgar, Nebraska until 1923 when they moved to Hastings. She lived there until moving to Blair in 1985 to live with her son and daughter-in-law.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star in Hastings and the Daughters of the Nile.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1979; three brothers, Fred Russell, Oscar Russell and James Russell; a sister Grace Russell and one great-grandson.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Madelyn Musick, Blair; a daughter and son-in-law, Marjorie and Robert Moreland of Norfolk, Nebraska; six grandsons, David Musick of Lenexa, Kansas; Lt. Col. Mark Musick of Lincoln; James Musick of Omaha; Richard Moreland of Swartz Creek, Michigan; Raymond Moreland of Texas; and Russell Moreland of Arvada, Colorado; one granddaughter, Dr. Marilyn Musick of Kearney, Nebraska and 14 great-grandchildren.

Casket bearers will be David Musick, Mark Musick, James Musick, Raymond Moreland, Bradley Musick and Brian Wojtasek.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lester Russell, Norma Russell and Marilyn Musick.

Butler-Volland Funeral Home in Hastings is in charge of arrangements.
