SERVICES FOR TRUHLSEN TUESDAY

Funeral services for Carrie J. Truhlsen will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 31 at the First Lutheran Church in Blair. Rev. Kurt Sortland will conduct the service, accompanied by organist Clare Cowing and vocalist Chuck Jorgensen. Funeral services will follow at the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Truhlsen was the wife of Elmer Truhlsen, who preceded her in death. She was the daughter of the late Lars Peter and Marie (Petersen) Rasmussen.

Mrs. Truhlsen was born in Denmark Sept. 28, 1902 and moved to the United States at age 2. She resided in Rutheton, Minn. before the family moved to Emerson. She attended school in Emerson and Blair. She was a member of the Golden Friends, People without Parents, and the Hillside Ezxtension Club.

Surviving relatives include sons Kenneth and Lyle Truhlsen of Blair, and daughter Mrs. Dean (Winnie) Ogle of Blair; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. John (Alice) Stolley of Omaha. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Pallbearers are Kent, Mark, and Steve Ogle and Bob , Randy, and Ron Truhlsen.
