ALVIN E. TRUMAN, 88

Alvin E. Truman, 88, of Blair, died Jan. 5, 2006. Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 7, at Hanscom Park United Methodist Church in Omaha. Interment was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha.

Alvin Earl Truman was born Sept. 1, 1917 to Alvin F. and Anna M. (Borrall) Truman.

He is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Mavis and Truman Hill of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Erlene and Larry Hert of Blair; Peg Kues of Omaha; and Nola and Del Millett of Butte; son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Betty Truman of Omaha; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sisters Darlene Putnam of O’Neill and Crystal Philben of El Cajon, Calif.; a brother, Donald Truman of Wisner; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise (Hope) Truman.

SERVICES Saturday, 10:30 a.m. Hanscom Park United Methodist Church, 4444 Frances St. Interment Hillcrest. Memorials to Hanscom Park United Methodist Church. VISITATION from 4:00 p.m. Friday, with family receiving friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the West Center Chapel.
