Wednesday Services Held For Pearl Nelson

Wednesday funeral services were held for 82 year old Pearl Nelson. Mrs. Nelson died on Saturday, December 29th at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair. The 10:30 a.m. services were held at the First Baptist Church, in Blair, with Rev. Heinz Grabia officiating. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nelson was born at Herman, Nebraska on March 6, 1897. She was married to the late Harry S. Nelson. She moved to 2242 Wright Street, in Blair, after they retired from the farm.

Mrs. Nelson is survived by one daughter, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The daughter is Mrs. Ray (Betty) Sonderup of Blair.

Pallbearers were: Loren Jones, Mark Tighe, Steven Baker, Raymond Wilson, Vernon Mathiesen and Vernon Christofferson.
