Funeral service for Mrs. Phyllis (Sprick) Nelson are Tuesday, February 2, at Christ Lutheran Church, el Cerrito, California. She died Friday, January 29, 1982, at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley after being hospitalized since October 16, 1981.

Phyllis Sprick Nelson was born in Blair, July 22, 1929, to Albert and Esther Sprick. She attended Blair Schools and Midland College. She was a rural school teacher in Washington County for a few years. She married Donald Nelson and moved to Fremont in 1950. Seventeen years ago, they moved to California.

Survivors are her husband, Donald Nelson, of Richmond, California; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Harder of Antioch, California; and a three-month old grandson, Kenneth Harder, Jr. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. William (Marion) Rigas of Omaha; her mother, Esther Sprick, of Blair; and a brother, Wesley Sprick, of Blair.
