MOTHER OF 13 IS DEAD

MRS. K. T. CHRISTENSEN, 67, DIES IN OMAHA; FORMER BLAIR WOMAN

Mrs. Kristina Marie Christensen of Omaha, a onetime Blairite and widow of the late K. T. Christensen died Monday at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha at the age of 67. She was the mother of 13 children, all of whom survive her. Her husband died a year ago.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 24th and Larimore Sts., in Omaha. Burial is to be in the Springwell Cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the Kremer Funeral Home in Benson until Thursday noon.

Mrs. Christensen was born in Denmark, Nov. 14, 1883, and came to the United States at the age of 6. She and Mr. Christensen were married in 1899, and since then had spent most of their time farming near Blair.

Surviving Mrs. Christensen are seven daughters, Mrs. Ralph Wilson of Los Angeles, Mrs. O. W. Sanders of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. W. D. Swanson, Mrs. Frank Simet, Mrs. C.M. Gollehon, Mrs. Norbert Thirtle and Mrs. Betty Lake, all of Omaha; six sons, J. Pete, Chris T., Fred V., Oscar T., Marshall H., Merrill R., all of Omaha; two sisters, Mrs. Vyo Lynn and Mrs. Alex Sander of Omaha; one brother, Nels C. Christensen of Kennard; 36 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
