CHRISTENSEN RITES HELD

K.T. CHISTENSEN OF FLORENCE, FORMER BLAIR FARMER, DIES AT 76

Kresten Torville Christensen, better known at K. T. Christensen, died Saturday. Seventy-six years old and for many years a resident of the Blair vicinity, he had been living on Route 2, Florence, for several years.

He and Mrs. Christensen had celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Mrs. Christensen was the head of a four-generation family numbering 71 persons.

Surviving him are his wife, Kristina Marie Christensen; seven daughters Mrs. Ralph Wilson of Los Angeles, Mrs. O. W. Sanders of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. W. D. Swanson, Mrs. Frank Simet, Mrs. C.M. Gollehon, Mrs. Norbert Thirtle and Mrs. Donald Take, all of Omaha; six sons, J. Pete, Chris T., Fred V., Oscar T., Marshall H., Merrill R. Christensen, all of Omaha.

There are 36 surviving grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are three brothers, Peter Blicker, J. Chris Christensen, and Dr. Fred V. Christensen.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Kremer Funeral Home, Benson. Interment followed in the Springwell Cemetery.
