She liked to fill her time with church activities, tending her flower garden, and spending time with family. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair since 1997.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Kay Hinman, of Council Bluffs; six grandchildren and their spouses, Daniel and Laurie Hinman of Council Bluffs, David and Terri Hinman of Highland Village, Texas, Laurie and Jeff Kouba of Council Bluffs, Twyla and Brian Swearingen of Omaha, Duane and Jennifer Hinman of Craig, and Rachelle and Keith Welsh of Miamisburg, Ohio; 17 great-grandchildren, including her two great-great-grandchildren, whom she called her “double blessing”, due in March and April.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers, and a son-in-law, Don Hinman.

Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church. Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
