Leora B. Christensen, 72, of Herman, died Friday, Nov. 21, 1997, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Services were Monday at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Christensen was born Nov. 23, 1924, in Burt County, Neb., to Charles and Ollie (Richards) Epperson. She attended school in rural Burt County. On April 17, 1949, she married Clarence Christensen at Herman. They lived on a farm southwest of Herman for 35 years, moving into Herman in 1984.

She was a member of the Herman Federated Church.

Survivors are her husband Clarence; a son and daughter-in-law, Nels and Susan Christensen, Blair; two granddaughters, Stacy and Candid; one great-grandson, Deven; a brother, Dale Epperson, Blair; two sisters, Eloise Cameron, Mojave Valley, Ariz., and Joyce Korth, Pittsburgh, Pa.; and a sister-in-law, Rachel Epperson of Blair.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Mark; sisters, Norma Anderson and Frances Forst and a brother, Arlo.
