LOWELL CHRISTENSEN DIED AT BLAIR HOSPITAL FRIDAY

Lowell W. Christensen, a long-time resident of Blair, died last Friday, October 21st at the Blair Hospital.

He was born November 15, 1902 at Elk Point, South Dakota, but had lived in Blair most of his life. He was 74 years of age. For a number of years he has been employed by the Blair Manufacturing Co.

He is survived by his wife, Marie, and the couple lived at 229 North 23rd Street. Also surviving is a son, Keith Christensen, of Blair and a daughter, Mrs. Jeffrey (Gladys) Haunton, of Omaha. There are six grandchildren. A brother, Lester, lives at Riverside, California and another brother, Harvey, lived at Rapid City, South Dakota.

Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 24th, at the First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Albers and Rev. John Peterson conducting the service. Funeral arrangements were in charge of the Campbell Mortuary and burial was made in the Elmgrove Cemetery at Tabor, South Dakota.

Pallbearers for the services which were held at Blair were Elmer Johnson, Wilbur Mann, Gordon Mann, Louis Baeth, Harold Alvers and Ray Lund.
