Funeral services for 54 year old Vernon Albert Bailey are to be held on Thursday, June 14, at 11 a.m. in the Campbell Funeral Home in Blair. Mr. Bailey died June 10, 1984 at St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha.

Mr. Bailey was born at Winner, South Dakota on July 25, 1929. He was married to Dorothy L. Gilliland and they resided in Carter Lake, Iowa.

Mr. Bailey had been in the U.S. Air Force and later was sales manager for U.S. Tires in this area.

Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Owen Wilmot with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy and a son Donald of Colorado. Surviving step¬children are: Beverly Gilsdord of Riverside, California and Clifford Hollingsworth of California. Stepmother is Mildred Bailey of Tekamah.

His sister and brother are: Lois Hilms of Tekamah and Jack Bailey of Tekamah.

Pallbearers will be: Gary Gawryluck, Fred Gilliland, Eugene Gilsdorf, Steve Meyer and Raymond Noyes.
