Funeral services were Monday, February 19, at the Church of Christ in Missouri Valley, for Lloyd Oliver Bair, 69, of Modale, Iowa, who died at the hospital in Missouri Valley, Iowa early Fri¬day, February 16, 1990.

Kenneth E. Worcester officiated. Burial was in the Magnolia Cemetery.

Lloyd Oliver Bair was born April 21, 1920 in Modale, Iowa to Carl and Ida Bock Bair. He married Deloma Gilmore in Spencer, Iowa, June 29, 1940.

He farmed throughout his life, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Missouri Valley.

He is survived by his wife, Deloma; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Lynetta Bair, Blair; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and La Verne Jackson of Mondamin and Connie and Charles Waite of Missouri Valley; eight grandchildren, Anna Marie Waite Andersen, Lincoln, Nebraska; Christina Waite and Douglas Waite, both of Missouri Valley; Kimberly Jackson Salter of Crescent, Iowa; Cory Jackson of Mondamin, Iowa; and Courtney Bair, Kiley Bair and Kevin Bair, all of Blair; and one great-grandchild, Natasha Andersen of Lincoln.

Pallbearers were Frank Broughton, Paul Richardson, Dale Vanness, Gene Sublet, Dennis Kirlin and Charles Davis.

Hennessey-VanCleave-Hurley Funeral Home in Missouri Valley was in charge of arrangements for the services.
