Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 12 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home for Vern Tuttle, 77 of Blair who died June 10, 1992 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.
Vern Tuttle was born March 15, 1915 at Cushing, Nebraska to Arthur and Elna Flint Tuttle. He graduated from Marquette, Nebraska High School and attended Dana College.
He served with the Merchant Marines, worked for Citizen Conservation Corps and worked and later retired from Blair Manufacturing.
He moved to Blair in 1946. He married Betty Baxter November 24, 1946 in Blair.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Betty of Blair; a son, John of Blair; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Sandy of Omaha; a daughter, Patricia Garretson, Blair; a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Roger Bell, Dows, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two brothers, Don of Marquette and Bus of Aurora, Nebraska.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
