ANNALEA TYSON, 78

Services for Annalea Tyson, 78 of Fremont who died October 12, 1992 at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont are 1:30 p.m. Thursday, October 15 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Mr. Gary Roberts of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is officiating. Burial will be in the Herman Cemetery.

Annalea Tyson was born December 19, 1913 at Walthill, Nebraska to Bert and Hazel Burnette McClain. She was a 1930 graduate of Tekamah High School and attended nursing school for three years, becoming a registered nurse.

She lived at Blair from 1930 – 1940 and then moved to Pasadena, California. In 1943 she moved to Omaha and in 1945 she moved to a farm north of Blair where she lived until her husband’s death. She then moved to El Monte, California, coming to Fremont in 1986 to reside at the Fremont Care Center.

She retired as a registered nurse from a nursing home December 1, 1978.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at Fremont.

She married Albert Thompson August 28, 1930 at Blair.

She married Kenneth Tyson November 28, 1942 at Pasadena, California. He preceded her in death September 15, 1962.

In addition to her husband, Kenneth, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Boyd.

She is survived by a son, Charles Tyson of Lovespark, Illinois; a daughter, Jeannine (Mrs. Virgil) Main of Fremont; a step-daughter, Barbara (Mrs. Lyle) Perius of Hawthorne, California; a brother, Charles McClain of El Monte, California; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Rick Main, Dennis Main, Keith Main, Virgil Main, Kenneth Tyson and Mark Tyson.
