MYRNA TYSON

Services for Myrna I. Tyson, 89, who died Sunday, March 9, 1986, at the Good Shepherd Home where she resided, will be Thursday, March 13, 2 p.m. at the Campbell Funeral Home in Blair. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Tyson was born September 28, 1896, the daughter of Artamus and Daisy Baker of Tekamah. She attended district 19 elementary public school and graduated from Tekamah High School in 1916.

She lived in Washington County from the time of her marriage until her death.

In 1946 she and her husband Harry bought the old Tyson Homestead from Peter Tyson, which has been in the Tyson family since 1887.

She was chairman of the Polio Drive in 1956. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and past president of that group. She was also a member of the Royal Neighbors-Oracle for two years.

Survivors include one son, Paul and family of Blair, and four grandsons.

Campbell Funeral Home of Blair is in charge of arrangements.
