FORMER BLAIR MAN DIES IN INDIANA

Funeral services were held Monday, January 24, at Gersen Funeral Home in Merrillville, Indiana for Willard C. Tyson, 80, of Merrillville, who died January 21, 1983 following a lengthy illness.

The Rev. Michael Merietta conducted the services. Hobart Elk memorial services were held Sunday, Janaury 23.

Willard C. Tyson was born in Blair August 21, 1902 to Mr. and Mrs. Everette Tyson. He was a member of The Sportsman Club, Hobart Elks Lodge No. 1125 and Teamsters Local No. 142.

Survivors include his wife, Alice; stepson, Jack Adams of Merrillville, Indiana; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Stuart (Dorothy) Maurer of Blair and Mrs. W. W. (Iva) Pfantz of N__________ in Kansas.
