Herman Neumann Rites Were Sunday At Fort Calhoun

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church for Herman Neumann, 65 years of age, of Blair, who died late Thursday afternoon at Memorial Community Hospital.

The Rev. George Pallesen officiated with interment in Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Mr. Neumann was born in Omaha April 18, 1895. He farmed for several years near Fort Calhoun and Blair and in 1947 moved to Blair. He was employed by Nebraska State Highway Department until April of 1960 when he retired.

Mr. Neumann is survived by his wife Teresa; three sons, John and Patrick of Blair, and Bill of Grand Island; three daughters, Mrs. Joe Reyzlik of Blair, Mrs. Don Butts of Omaha, and Mrs. George Stewart of Ashland; a sister, Alice Prochnow of Fort Calhoun and nine grandchildren.

The Sievers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
