FORMER COUNTY WOMAN IS BURIED

MRS. CHRIS CHRISTENSEN, 79, OF OMAHA, BURIED IN ORUM CEMETERY

Mrs. Ida Christensen, 79, of Omaha, resident of Washington county before moving to Omaha 25 years ago, died Friday evening at her home, 3022 Tucker street in Omaha.

Brief funeral services were held at her home at 1 p.m. Monday, followed by further service west of Blair, interment following in Orum Cemetery. The Bendorf Funeral Home of Blair had charge of arrangements.

Born March 24, 1863 in Greenfor, Denmark, Mrs. Christensen came to the United States in 1888, settling in Nebraska.

She is survived by her husband, Chris, of Omaha; three sons, Nels Christensen of Blair, Marshall Christensen of Flint, Michigan, and Chris Christensen Jr.; and three daughters, Mrs. Tillie King and Mrs. Dora Sanders of Omaha, and Mrs. K. T. Christensen of Blair. There are 25 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
