John Neumann

John W. T. Neumann was born February 17, 1865, at Schleswig, Holstein, Germany, and died in Omaha February 23, 1937. He came with his parents to Omaha when he was 17 years old, where he resided sixteen years, then moved to a farm west of Ft. Calhoun, where he made his home for twenty years. He and his wife resided in Omaha for the past nineteen years.

Mr. Neumann was a good citizen, friend and neighbor and his passing is sincerely regretted by all who knew him.

Surviving him are his wife, two children, Mrs. Albert Prochnow and Herman Neumann of Ft. Calhoun, a sister, Mrs. Henry Klassen of Ft. Calhoun and two brothers, Carl and William of Colorado, also eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The funeral services will be held in the Sievers funeral home this afternoon, and burial will be in the Ft. Calhoun cemetery.
