Services Held In Texas For Former Blairite

Funeral services and burial were held on Sunday, June 28, in Dallas, Texas, for Jack Newberg, 74, who died June 27, 1981, in Dallas.

Jack Newberg came to the United States from Russia in 1922. From 1935-1965, he owned and operated the Blue Goose Grocery Store in Blair, where he and his family made their home for eight years. He had lived in Dallas for the past ten years.

He was an active member of the Masonic Lodge in Blair.

He is survived by his wife, Ann; and three sons, Marvin Newberg, Bernie Newberg and Alvin Newberg, all of Dallas. Six grandchildren also survive him.
